MAX BOYD HARRISON
FOUNDER // INSTIGATOR // YUMMY CHILL CO.
SKATE PUNK ETHOS. ARTISTIC EXCELLENCE.
THE DOSSIER
Houston-based visual instigator with three decades embedded in the fine art matrix. After navigating the highest tiers of the industry, I exited the systemic machine to build something visceral and untethered.
THE PHILOSOPHY
Creativity is psychological warfare. True survival is predicated on radical non-conformity. We arm modern outlaws with wearable artifacts designed for those who refuse to blend into the sterilized landscape of modern fashion.
INTELLECTUAL SEED
Academic conditioning meets intentional dismantling. The foundation was laid in the ivory towers only to be weaponized in the streets.
• University of St. Thomas: Art History, Theology, and Philosophy—grinding the lens of culture.
• Glassell School of Art (MFAH): Technical refinement under Texas masters, learning the rules just to break them.
GALLERY DICTATORSHIP
Co-founded Gallery M Squared, operating for 16 years as an independent, uncompromising syndicate. We controlled the narrative when no one else would.
• Scope: A spectrum ranging from volatile emerging voices to elite, blue-chip masterworks.
• Validation: Recognized as a Top 10 Houston Gallery by USA TODAY in 2014.
• The Exit: Burned the commercial bridge in 2015. Walked out of the white cube to find truth in the grit.
THE MANIFESTO
High-end underground disruption. We reject the soul-crushing redundancy of mass-produced garbage. Yummy Chill Co. delivers premium heavy-weights and 1-of-1 serialized artifacts executed with gallery-level precision. This is high-contrast protection for the outsiders, the skeptics, and the subversives.
